Legacy Clinical Studies
The ÌÇÐÄVlog/American Stroke Association previously offered the opportunity to be included in clinical research studies. This initiative allowed participants to contribute to groundbreaking research that aimed to improve cardiovascular and stroke care. By being part of these studies, individuals helped advance scientific knowledge and potentially benefited from new treatments and therapies.
Featured Research
The ÌÇÐÄVlog's (AHA) Get With The Guidelines® (GWTG) greatly values clinical investigators and their research. We are proud to showcase featured research developed from our national registries, which include AFib, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure, Resuscitation, and Stroke databases. The GWTG program stimulates research using GWTG data, and these efforts provide a step forward in our mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.

Data ChallengesÌý
At various times, The ÌÇÐÄVlog will host Data Challenges encouraging cross collaboration among researchers to deepen understanding of a strategic, focused topic. Challenge participants are asked to address targeted research questions and teams are encouraged to leverage Get With The Guidelines® (GWTG) registry data, generalizable data and other publicly available datasets. All data must be de-identified. Each challenge participant will be provided a free, Precision Medicine Platform workspace to conduct all analyses. Use of the workspace for entry and submission of the application is mandatory for security. All workspaces are HIPPA compliant and FedRAMP low certified.
